Buying an electric tricycle is a significant purchase. We want you to feel completely confident about how your payment is handled and what protections are in place before, during, and after checkout.

We currently accept PayPal as our payment method at checkout.

PayPal allows you to pay using:

A PayPal account is not required to complete a purchase. You can check out as a guest using your credit or debit card through PayPal's guest checkout option. Select PayPal at checkout and look for the option to pay with a card without signing in.

2. Fees and Costs — What You Pay at Checkout

We believe you should know the full cost of your order before you confirm it. Here is a complete breakdown of what applies:

  • Product price: Listed on each product page in US dollars (USD)
  • Shipping: Free on all orders to the contiguous United States — no minimum order value required
  • Sales tax: Calculated based on your delivery address and applied at checkout where required by applicable state law. The exact amount is displayed before you confirm your order.
  • PayPal fees: We do not charge any additional fees for using PayPal. PayPal does not charge buyers for standard purchases.
  • Import duties or customs fees: None — all orders ship domestically from our US warehouse.
  • Hidden fees: None. The total shown at checkout is the total you pay.

The final order total — including product price, applicable tax, and any other charges — is displayed clearly on the checkout page before you submit your order. You will not be charged anything beyond what you see and confirm at that step.


3. How Your Payment Is Processed

All transactions on bikegg.com are processed through PayPal's secure payment platform, which uses industry-standard SSL and TLS encryption to protect your financial information.

This means:

  • Your card or bank details are handled directly by PayPal — not stored on our servers
  • Every transaction is encrypted end-to-end between your browser and PayPal's payment systems
  • PayPal monitors transactions for fraud in real time
  • BIKEGG never sees or stores your full card number, CVV, or banking credentials

You will see HTTPS and a padlock icon in your browser's address bar throughout checkout, confirming your connection is secure.


4. PayPal Buyer Protection

One of the advantages of paying through PayPal is that eligible purchases are covered by PayPal Buyer Protection. If an item does not arrive or does not match the description, you can open a dispute directly through PayPal for an additional layer of recourse — independent of our own return and refund policy.

  • Before payment: Product price, shipping cost (free), and applicable sales tax are all displayed at checkout before you confirm
  • At payment: You are redirected to PayPal's secure environment to complete the transaction
  • After payment: You receive an order confirmation email within minutes. Your order enters processing within 1 to 3 business days.
  • Shipping notification: You receive a second email with your tracking number once your order has been dispatched
  • Delivery: Estimated 8 to 12 business days from order placement to delivery within the contiguous United States
