Returns & Refunds

We want you to feel confident buying from BIKEGG. Electric tricycles are a significant purchase, and we think you deserve a return policy that is clear, fair, and straightforward.

If something is not right with your order, we will work with you to make it right. Email us at support@bikegg.com and we will respond within 1 to 2 business days.


1. Return Window

We accept return requests made within 30 days of delivery.

To be eligible, your return request must be submitted within 30 days of the date your order was marked as delivered by the carrier. Requests submitted after this window cannot be accepted.


2. Return Eligibility

To qualify for a return, your item must meet all of the following conditions:

  • In the same condition as received — unused, unridden, and undamaged
  • In its original packaging, with all original components intact
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase — your order number or order confirmation email
  • All included accessories, adapters, manuals, and charging equipment must be returned together with the trike

Please note: Electric tricycles are large freight items. Partial returns — for example, returning the trike without the included accessories — cannot be accepted.


3. Items That Cannot Be Returned

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Items that have been ridden, assembled beyond initial setup, or show signs of use
  • Items that have been modified or altered from their original condition
  • Items returned without prior authorization from our support team
  • Items returned after the 30-day return window has passed

If you are unsure whether your item qualifies, contact us before shipping anything back.


4. How to Start a Return

Do not ship your item back without contacting us first. Items returned without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Step 1 — Contact our support team

Email us at support@bikegg.com with the following:

  • Your order number
  • The reason for your return
  • Photos of the item and packaging (required for all return requests)

We will respond within 1 to 5 business days with instructions and, where applicable, a return authorization number.

Step 2 — Ship the item back

Once your return is authorized, ship the item to the return address provided in our reply. Please note:

  • Do not ship to the manufacturer or any other address — ship only to the return address we provide
  • We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping method with shipping insurance. Electric tricycles are large freight items and we cannot be responsible for return packages lost or damaged in transit.
  • Keep your tracking number until your refund has been confirmed.

5. Return Address

Our returns are processed through our US-based fulfillment warehouse. The return address will be provided in your return authorization email. Please do not ship returns to our corporate mailing address.


6. Return Shipping Costs

Who pays for return shipping depends on the reason for the return:

We cover return shipping costs in these situations:

  • Item arrived damaged or defective
  • Wrong item was shipped

You are responsible for return shipping costs in these situations:

  • Change of mind or buyer's remorse
  • Wrong model ordered
  • Item not as expected (non-defective)

Restocking fee: None. We do not charge a restocking fee on any return.

For returns where we cover shipping costs — damaged, defective, or wrong item — please arrange return shipping with a carrier of your choice and send us a copy of the shipping receipt or invoice. The verified return shipping cost will be refunded to your original payment method together with your product refund, within 5 to 7 business days of our receiving and inspecting the item.

Because electric tricycles are large, heavy items, return freight costs for change-of-mind returns can be significant. We encourage you to review product specs carefully before purchasing, and to reach out to us with any questions — we are happy to help you choose the right model before you buy.


7. Refund Processing

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you by email whether your refund has been approved or denied.

If approved:

  • Your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 3 to 5 business days of inspection approval
  • Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take an additional 3 to 5 business days for the funds to appear in your account
  • You will receive a confirmation email when the refund has been processed

If denied — for example, the item shows signs of use, missing components, or does not match the condition described in the return request — we will email you with an explanation and, where possible, arrange to return the item to you.


8. Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. If you would like a different model, size, or color, we recommend the following process:

  • Submit a return request for your original item following the steps in Section 4
  • Once your return is approved, place a new order for the correct item

This approach ensures you get the new item as quickly as possible without waiting for a traditional exchange process. If you have questions about which model is right for you before reordering, our support team is happy to help.


9. Order Cancellations

We strongly recommend contacting us within 24 hours of placing your order if you need to cancel. Email us at support@bikegg.com with your order number and we will cancel the order and issue a full refund to your original payment method.

Please note:

  • Once an order has been dispatched from our fulfillment warehouse, we are unable to cancel or intercept it in transit
  • If your order has already shipped by the time you contact us, please follow the return process outlined in Section 4
  • Refunds for cancelled orders (prior to dispatch) are processed within 3 to 7 business days

If you are unsure whether your order has shipped yet, contact us immediately and we will check the status for you.


10. Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged or you received the wrong item, please contact us at support@bikegg.com within 48 hours of delivery.

Include the following in your email:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Clear photos of the outer packaging including any visible damage to the box
  • Clear photos of the item showing the specific issue or incorrect item received

We will review your case promptly and arrange a replacement part, full product replacement, or refund as appropriate. We do not require you to return damaged items in most cases — we just need the documentation.


11. Inspect Your Package at Delivery

Electric tricycles ship as large freight packages. We ask that you take a moment to inspect the outer packaging before or at the time of delivery.

  • If the box shows significant visible damage such as crushed corners, punctures, or visible impact damage, note this on the carrier's delivery receipt before signing
  • If the damage is extensive, you may refuse the delivery and contact us immediately
  • Take a quick photo of the package before opening it — this takes 30 seconds and can make the claims process much faster if an issue is discovered

These steps protect you and help us resolve any issues as quickly as possible.
